Stunning views but be prepared to hike

The location was breathtaking, and the room offered a lovely sense of privacy. Raffaele was exceptional, always available on WhatsApp to assist us with any queries and arrangements.

However, the hill down to the beach felt like a workout, with steep steps that might be challenging for some. Also, the towels weren't replaced frequently enough, leading to dampness.

The view from the Double Room with Sea View offered an impressive panorama, making it a highlight of our stay. The room itself had all the essentials for a comfortable experience, including functional amenities.

Finding the property was a bit of a puzzle at first, with confusing directions that made the arrival slightly stressful. The distance from the beach was misleading. the actual number of steps exceeded 60, which felt strenuous, especially after a long day out. Furthermore, towels were only replaced every three days, leading to a somewhat uncomfortable situation where we had damp towels for two nights. To top it off, the bathroom had lingering odors despite the fan running, and small areas of black mold appeared in the shower.

The host provided an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. Don't miss it!

The sandwiches in the area are epic! Casa e Bottega was a gem, making every lunch feel like a feast. Raffaele was super helpful too, always ready to assist us and making our checkout smooth.

However, the steps to the beach were a killer workout. I counted more than 60! And with towels only swapped every three days, they didn’t dry properly after a dip in the dark grey beach.

The views from the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony are absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, I woke up to the stunning scenery of Positano right outside my window. The room itself had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was beautifully clean, and the air conditioning worked wonders in the humid weather. I really appreciated the little touches like the stocked kitchenette, perfect for grabbing a quick snack after a beach day. The staff communicated excellently through WhatsApp and in person, making check-in a breeze. However, the location is a bit of a trek from the beach and main roads. Expect a lot of steps! A local bus stop at the end of the street helped, but I would advise anyone with mobility issues to consider this. Overall, the peaceful setting and stunning views make it worth the effort.

My stay at this relais was incredible, with a beautiful walk to both the quaint church of santa maria assunta and the delightful eatery casa e bottega just a short stroll away, making exploring the local sights so easy. however, be prepared for a bit of a workout with the stairs back to the hotel.
